Job Description

We are seeking a skilled animator to complete the animation for our 5-part math video series. Four parts have already been animated, and one remains. The project involves creating animations that consist of math scratch work and note-taking in an on-screen version of a PDF course booklet. This animated content will then be integrated into a post-produced video that is 3 hours long, with approximately half of the content animated. The animator will need to strategically determine when to show the instructor and when to display the animated booklet, ensuring precise timing between each word’s animation and its corresponding narration. Effective highlighting as a form of on-screen gesturing is also essential. This project can be tedious, making the use of AI assistance acceptable.

Requirements

Key skills required for this role include:

• Ability to know when to show the instructor versus the animated booklet
• Exact timing of word animations with their narration
• Effective use of highlighting as an on-screen gesturing technique

Experience:

• 4 years of experience in 2D animation (Preferred)

Work Location: Remote

Compensation

The total compensation for the project is $3500, which translates to approximately $40 per hour based on the expected workload.
