Job Description

I’m looking for a creative, reliable, and motivated Content Producer / Videographer & Creative Assistant to work alongside me on comedy content for TikTok, Instagram, and other social platforms. This role is more than just holding a camera; I’m seeking someone to become a second set of eyes and a creative partner who can help bring ideas to life and contribute their own ideas to ensure our videos are as funny and entertaining as possible.

• Understands TikTok, Instagram Reels, and short-form comedy
• Has experience filming and/or editing content
• Can give honest creative feedback
• Is comfortable coming up with ideas
• Is organized and dependable
• Is proactive rather than waiting to be told what to do
• Is comfortable working in a fast-paced creative environment
• Lives in or around Los Angeles
• Has a flexible schedule for occasional shoots
• Has a portfolio, reel, or examples of content they’ve worked on

Responsibilities

Filming & Production

• Film comedy skits using professional cameras and/or phones
• Help set up shots, lighting, audio, and basic production
• Help plan and organize shoots
• Assist with making sure we get all the shots we need
• Help find and coordinate filming locations when needed

Creative & Script Development

• Brainstorm new comedy and dating-related skit ideas
• Help develop concepts, punchlines, and endings
• Read through scripts and give honest feedback on whether jokes land
• Help improve scripts before filming
• Bring your own ideas and creative perspective to the content
• Keep an eye on current trends and find ways to put our own spin on them

Casting & People

• Help find people to appear in videos
• Reach out to potential actors/creators when needed
• Help coordinate people for shoots
• Occasionally appear in videos if comfortable

General Content Assistance

• Help with small tasks needed to make videos happen
• Pick up props or other items needed for shoots
• Help organize content ideas and upcoming shoots
• Be proactive and look for ways to make the production process easier
• Be another set of eyes, ears, and hands throughout the creative process

Additional Information

This part-time position is paid at $25.00 per hour with expected hours no more than 10 per week. Benefits include a flexible schedule and professional development assistance. The work will be conducted in person in Los Angeles/Hollywood.
