Job Description

Jubilee Media is on a mission to provoke understanding and create human connection through storytelling. We are looking for a Freelance Motion Designer to build the motion graphics package for Nectar’s short form content. This role is focused on creating reusable graphics templates rather than video editing. The Motion Designer will be responsible for translating static graphic designs into motion graphics that editors can customize.

Requirements

• Strong motion work with a clear point of view on timing and rhythm.
• Real fluency with Premiere’s Essential Graphics workflow, specifically building MOGRTs with properly exposed, editable controls.
• Experience designing for vertical short form content (TikTok, Reels, Shorts) and an understanding of how graphics read at small sizes and fast speeds.
• Comfort working from someone else’s static designs and extending them faithfully into motion.
• Ability to take a brief, ask the right questions once, and design something close to what was requested.

Compensation & Perks

• Project rate – $50-60 hourly.
• Collaborative work environment.
• Remote opportunity, LA-based is a plus for occasional in-person meetings.
