Job Description

About the Role: At Magenta, we partner with leading retailers and artists to provide end-to-end houseware production. We are looking for a Temporary Product Designer to join our team through January, 2027! This role is intended to cover a maternity leave.

Key Responsibilities

Creative Development & Execution

• Translate trend & brand direction into compelling product concepts
• Create design mockups & presentation slides
• Provide follow-through on design iterations from concept to final approval
• Contribute ideas & thoughtful design solutions

Cross-Functional Communication

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Product Development, Sales, Sourcing, & Quote teams) to ensure proper coordination & execution

Skills & Qualifications

• Time management: ability to manage multiple timelines, creative milestones, and deliverables independently [required]
• Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator & Photoshop [required]
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint [required]
• Experience using Asana [nice to have]
• Form development experience [nice to have]
• Licensing product experience [nice to have]

Additional Information

Please note, this is a temporary, contract position through January, 2027 requiring 30-40 hours per week.

Pay: $30.00 - $55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 per week

Work Location: Remote
