Job Description

TrustScale is seeking experienced verbatim transcription professionals to join our team for an English transcription project. This role involves producing highly accurate transcripts from pre-segmented audio content. Candidates will need to verify audio segments at the word level, ensuring the accuracy of transcriptions by adjusting boundaries and correcting errors in the text.

Accuracy and consistency are prioritized over speed in this position. The role entails a thorough review of the entire assigned audio file rather than a partial review, relying on careful listening and judgment, especially during continuous speech.

Requirements

The ideal candidates will have:

• Native or near-native proficiency in English.
• Demonstrated professional transcription experience.
• Excellent listening and comprehension skills.
• Strong typing skills and attention to detail.
• Experience working with transcription guidelines and quality standards.
• Ability to consistently deliver accurate, high-quality work.
• Strong quality-control and error-identification skills.
• Reliable availability throughout the project.

Previous experience in transcription review, QA, QC, or adjudication is highly valued, as successful contributors may progress to higher-level review or adjudication roles based on performance.

Additional Information

Qualification Process: The qualification process is unpaid and consists of two steps:

Step 1 – Transcription Test:

• Candidates must complete a short transcription test (link provided upon application). Candidates should register using a Gmail account.
• Passing score: 90%. The test is automatically graded.
• Successful candidates will be invited to continue to the project-specific qualification process.

Step 2 – Project Qualification:

• Participants who pass the initial test receive access to the project test, guidelines, and training materials.
• Progression to production depends on meeting quality standards and demonstrating an understanding of the task.
