Job Description

Our client, the Government Services Integration Cluster under the Ministry of Public and Business Service Delivery and Procurement, is seeking an experienced Senior UX Designer. The successful candidate will lead the design and delivery of user-centered digital products and services, with a strong portfolio that showcases expertise in end-to-end UX and product design. This role involves designing complex digital experiences from concept through production, conducting user research, translating insights into actionable design solutions, and collaborating closely with stakeholders.

Requirements

Mandatory Skills and Experience

• Extensive experience in developing and executing UX strategies that enhance user interactions with digital products and services.
• Proven ability to lead the design of complex digital services from concept to production.
• Strong expertise in establishing high standards for user experience and performance measurement.
• Demonstrated experience in creating design deliverables (e.g., mood boards, user flows, wireframes, mock-ups, interactive prototypes).
• Strong understanding of both generative and evaluative user research methodologies.
• Experience in synthesizing research findings into clear and actionable UX documentation.
• Proficiency in using web analytics and performance metrics to inform design decisions.
• Experience designing web and mobile applications.

Communication and Collaboration Skills

Portfolio Requirement – Mandatory

Candidates must provide a link to their professional UX/Product Design portfolio, demonstrating relevant experience in designing digital products and showcasing end-to-end UX design capabilities.

Additional Information

Location: Toronto, Ontario. This position requires 100% onsite work, 5 days per week. The contract lasts from October 1, 2026, to March 31, 2027, with one possible extension. The maximum bill rate is $864/day, and the submission deadline is September 9, 2026, at 12:00 PM EST. No security clearance is required, and only one candidate submission per supplier is permissible.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be a highly experienced UX professional with a strong combination of UX strategy, user research, interaction design, product design, prototyping, stakeholder engagement, and Agile delivery experience. Comfort in leading complex digital design initiatives and translating user insights into engaging digital experiences is essential.
