Job Description

Angala Fintech is building the Angala Payment Gateway, a payment infrastructure product enabling merchants and businesses to securely accept and process online payments. We are looking for a UI/UX Designer who can turn complex payment and financial workflows into simple, intuitive and trustworthy digital experiences. You will work closely with the Product, Engineering, and Business teams to design merchant journeys, payment flows, onboarding experiences, dashboards and other product interfaces that are easy to use, responsive and built for conversion.

Key Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end merchant and payment journeys, from onboarding through transaction completion and reconciliation.
• Create intuitive payment flows that minimise friction and improve conversion and successful transaction completion.
• Design merchant dashboards covering transactions, settlements, payments, reports and account management.
• Develop wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity interfaces using Figma.
• Conduct user research, usability testing and iterative design based on user feedback and product data.
• Build and maintain scalable design systems, components and interaction patterns.
• Design responsive experiences across web and relevant mobile interfaces.
• Apply accessibility, usability, security and trust principles to financial-product design.
• Collaborate closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs and resolve design/technical constraints.
• Translate complex payment, financial and technical requirements into clear user experiences.

Requirements & Experience

• Proven experience as a UI/UX or Product Designer, preferably in fintech, payments, banking, e-commerce or transaction-based products.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating product design and end-to-end UX thinking.
• Strong understanding of user research, information architecture, user flows, wireframing, prototyping and usability testing.
• Experience designing dashboards, onboarding flows and transaction/payment experiences.
• Strong understanding of responsive and accessible digital design.
• Ability to work effectively with product managers, engineers and business stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to defend design decisions using user needs and product objectives.
