Job Description

We’re looking for a Photographer/Videographer to capture scroll-stopping photo and video content for real clients — restaurants, shops, and local businesses across the East Bay. This is on-location, part-time freelance work. It starts as a 4-week paid trial and converts to ongoing paid shoots for the right person.

Requirements

- Your own camera gear (DSLR or mirrorless) and basic lighting; strong phone-video skills too.

- Editing skills (Premiere, CapCut, Lightroom, or similar).

- Reliable transportation to East Bay locations.

- A portfolio or reel (required).

- Bay Area based; Spanish a plus (many clients are bilingual).

- Students and emerging creators welcome.

Compensation

- $400 for the 4-week paid trial.

- Converts to ongoing work at $500/month minimum, plus upside per shoot and project.

Responsibilities

- On-location photo and video shoots at client businesses around the East Bay.

- Appetizing food and product photography that fits each brand.

- Shoot and edit short-form vertical video (Reels, TikTok, Shorts) and b-roll.

- Basic editing, color, and sound — deliver ready-to-post files.

- Direct simple scenes (dishes, owners, staff) and keep shoots efficient.

Additional Information

Pay: $400.00 - $500.00 per month.
