A DANCEUrgent

Dancer is needed in London, United Kingdom.

We are casting Stella, the female lead in A DANCE, a 10-minute independent dark comedy/thriller short film shooting on location in London with a professional crew. The role is for a woman in her early 30s, a former celebrated dancer who is elegant, striking and enigmatic. The performance relies on stillness, subtle facial expression and controlled movement as much as dialogue.

We are seeking a female dancer of East Asian or mixed East Asian appearance, with a playing age of approximately 27–35 and a graceful, refined physical presence. Experience in Chinese classical, Chinese traditional or contemporary dance is welcome. This is also an acting role, so on-camera or acting experience is beneficial but not essential. The engagement is for a few hours, requires on-site work in London, and is needed by 20 September.
