Job Description

Position: CREST CATSUS Web Developer

Work Schedule: This is a part-time position; 20 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 10:00 am to 3:00 pm; non-exempt position. This is a temporary appointment expiring on or before August 31, 2026, with the possibility of renewal, contingent upon availability of funds. The CREST CATSUS has been recently funded and will be able to provide funds for this position until at least August 31, 2027.

Overview: The Website Developer and Maintenance Specialist is responsible for the ongoing development, enhancement, and maintenance of the official websites for the CREST-CATSUS and Sikand SITI Center programs. This includes ensuring the websites remain up-to-date, functional, accessible, visually appealing, and aligned with program goals.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience in website development, content management, and maintenance.
• Proficiency in web development tools and languages (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, WordPress or similar CMS).
• Familiarity with web accessibility standards and responsive design principles.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in an academic or research environment.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and web analytics tools.
• Familiarity with image and video editing tools (e.g., Photoshop, Canva, Adobe Premiere).
