Job Description

OpenX is focused on unleashing the full economic potential of digital media companies through digital advertising markets and technologies. We are looking for a hands-on motion design and video editor to help shape our video content across web, social, and CTV. The ideal candidate will have strong motion design skills, production instincts, and a genuine curiosity to explore opportunities and enhance branded content.

As a motion designer, you will collaborate with brand designers, product marketers, and growth marketers to deliver high-quality visual content, whether for quick social cuts or full-scale brand campaign videos. You will be involved in concept development, storyboarding, shooting, and editing for various digital-first content across platforms such as LinkedIn, YouTube, and Instagram.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in motion design, video editing, or content creation in the B2B Tech/AdTech space preferred (agency or in-house creative team a plus).

Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, with a solid understanding of video editing and social content tools, including platforms and workflows commonly used in motion and video production.

Strong portfolio demonstrating your motion design, static content, and video production range, with an eye for design, pacing, and storytelling.

Collaborative and commercially minded approach, with rigor on creative quality and the performance of video content.

Exceptional organization and the ability to manage multiple productions simultaneously without losing the thread.

Familiarity with AI-enabled production, editing, or workflow tools.

Engagement & Structure

The engagement is from September through December with an option to extend. Initially, this will be a part-time contract (2–3 days/week) to build momentum and gain clarity on production volume and direction. Following this, we are looking to engage on a full-week basis.
