Job Description

We are seeking a DataStage/ETL Developer with 5+ years experience to design, develop, and support data integration solutions in an Agile environment. The ideal candidate will have strong DataStage, Unix/Shell scripting, SQL, and database experience, along with excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance ETL solutions using DataStage 11.x.
• Analyze and resolve data, application, and production issues through root-cause analysis.
• Develop and maintain DataStage ETL jobs and Unix/Shell scripts.
• Identify opportunities to automate processes and improve application stability.
• Participate in Agile requirements, solution design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Support production applications and resolve defects.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver effective solutions.
• Contribute to improvements in development tools, processes, and delivery practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of DataStage/ETL development experience, preferably DataStage 11.7+.
• Strong Unix/Shell scripting and SQL skills.
• Experience with DB2, Sybase, and/or Oracle.
• Experience with Control-M, Jira, and Bitbucket.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and development skills.
• Experience with Agile and SDLC methodologies.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
