Job Description

This is a remote position.

Archive is assembling a team to build a bilingual digital platform for a non-profit organization. Each role has one planned assignment, with specialist involvement as needed. Qualified individuals may cover more than one role.

The client’s internal team leads product, business project management, UX/design and English/French content. Archive leads technical delivery and handover. All candidates should demonstrate relevant delivery experience, collaborative working, and clear documentation. Nonprofit or education experience is an asset.

This contract role is to configure and extend the headless CMS with the client’s content and taxonomy leads. The role involves delivering bilingual content structures, editorial tools, and content APIs, as well as supporting media connections, migration, and training for content editors.

Requirements

Production experience with a modern headless CMS and its customization tools.

Structured content, taxonomy, metadata, and English/French content relationships.

Editorial permissions, preview, approval workflows, and publishing controls.

Content APIs, media integration, validation, automated tests, and editor documentation.

5 to 10 years of experience.

Must be fluent in spoken and written English; fluency in spoken and written French is a huge asset.

Preferred contractor location is in Canada or the USA; client is on the East Coast of Canada, so availability during standard EST business hours is necessary.

Required within a month. The position will remain open until filled.
