Job Description

This is a remote position. Archive is assembling a team to build a bilingual digital platform for a nonprofit organization. Each role has one planned assignment, with specialist involvement as needed. Qualified people may cover more than one role.

The client’s internal team leads product, business project management, UX/design, and English/French content. Archive leads technical delivery and handover. All candidates should demonstrate relevant delivery experience, collaborative working, and clear documentation. Nonprofit or education experience is an asset.

This contract role will build the application services for accounts, profiles, registrations, saved resources, and dashboard information. Implement permissions and agreed business rules, working with the integration developer to exchange information with the client’s systems.

Requirements

Production web services, API development, databases, and automated testing.

Authentication, single sign-on, authorization, and secure account lifecycle management.

Registration workflows, input validation, reliable identifiers, and duplicate prevention.

Logging, error handling, performance tuning, and maintainable technical documentation.

5 to 10 years of experience is required within a month. Must be located in Canada. The position is remote and will remain open until filled.

Must be fluent in spoken and written English; fluency in spoken and written French is a huge asset.

Preferred contractors should be located in Canada or the USA. The client is based on the East Coast of Canada, so candidates must be available during standard EST business hours.
