Job Description

Slated Strategies is seeking a hands-on Freelance Digital Marketing & SEO Specialist to support website optimization, SEO, Google Ads campaign execution, website maintenance, and performance reporting for plastic surgery and aesthetics clients. This is a contractor role for someone who can step in as client work becomes available, manage assigned tasks efficiently, and support client accounts on a flexible monthly basis. The role combines SEO strategy, SEO copywriting, technical website updates, Google Ads support, and performance reporting. WordPress editing experience is ideal, including the ability to make content updates directly in WordPress without relying on a developer for basic changes.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct keyword research and develop SEO content recommendations.
• Write and optimize meta titles, meta descriptions, H1/H2 headings, image alt tags, and page content.
• Edit and publish content directly within WordPress.
• Implement on-page SEO best practices across assigned pages.
• Monitor search performance and recommend adjustments.
• Support local SEO efforts when assigned.
• Make front-end content edits in WordPress.
• Optimize page structures and internal linking for SEO and user experience.
• Coordinate with team members for feedback and troubleshooting of website issues.
• Build and optimize Google Ads campaigns.
• Set up tracking and provide performance reporting.
• Set up and manage GA4 and Google Tag Manager when assigned.
• Produce monthly reports with actionable insights.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in plastic surgery, aesthetics, medical, wellness, or local service brands.
• Familiarity with email marketing tools such as Mailchimp or ActiveCampaign.
• Understanding of marketing automation and funnel strategies.
• Experience with local SEO and Google Business Profile optimization.
• Experience in landing page optimization for lead generation.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of on-page SEO.
• Experience writing SEO-optimized content and metadata.
• Hands-on WordPress editing experience.
• Proficiency with Google Ads, GA4, and Google Tag Manager.
• Ability to interpret performance data and formulate recommendations.
• Understanding of UX principles influencing SEO and conversions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Comfortable with flexible, project-based work.

Contractor Fit

This role is best for an independent freelancer who:

• Has their own equipment and software.
• Works with multiple clients or is comfortable with project-based freelance work.
• Can take direction without needing daily supervision.
• Is available for recurring monthly client work as accounts are added.
• Understands that hours may vary depending on client volume and scope.
• Can provide invoices and appropriate contractor tax documentation.

Additional Information

**_MUST BE PHYSICALLY IN A USA TIMEZONE_**

Estimated Workload: Approximately 8 hours per month per client when the client is enrolled in both Google Ads management and SEO/website maintenance. 12 hours per month provided to start, possibly more depending on skill set.

Current Need: This role may begin with a limited number of client accounts and expand as new clients are added. Slated Strategies is actively marketing to grow this service line, with a goal of adding up to six new clients this year.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3.0 – 10.0 per week
