Job Description

MDHS is currently seeking Applinx Web developers to maintain the Applinx web development modernization designs implemented in the JAWS and MAVERICS legacy applications. Limited enhancements may also be required as necessary. MDHS seeks consultant services to collaborate with staff for proper incorporation, testing, and implementation of changes, along with a transfer of knowledge to empower MDHS staff to support these services comfortably. The ideal candidate should be an experienced ApplinX/Web professional capable of establishing and supporting ApplinX-related operations according to best practices, including ApplinX servers, designer seats, applications, web applications, and NATAPX hosts.

Requirements

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess the following skills and experience:

• 7+ years in JAVA
• Hands-on experience developing and maintaining Applinx solutions
• Experience with ApplinX version 11 or later
• Experience working with customers to build and formulate business requirements
• Knowledge of agile software development
• Good working knowledge of modern web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and integration methods
• Programming skills in JAVA or Microsoft .NET
• Strong analytical ability to structure well-performing websites
• Strong communication skills: written, oral, and presentation
