Job Description

NYU Langone Health is looking for a Digital Media Producer to join its Visual Production team within the Department of Communications, Marketing, Government and Community Affairs. This role is essential for enhancing the institution’s video and photographic storytelling across various digital and enterprise platforms. The Digital Media Producer will report to the Director of Visual Production and is responsible for ensuring high-quality visual output that supports NYU Langone’s mission in patient care, research, and education. The candidate should have experience as a Director of Photography, showcasing a strong cinematic eye and operational efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate with producers, creatives, and communications partners to conceptualize and execute visual stories.
• Capture high-quality photography and video to advance NYU Langone’s brand and mission.
• Handle all aspects of the production process, with emphasis on pre-production planning, on-site capture, lighting, and sound recording.
• Edit short and long form video content for various platforms.
• Manage production gear, lighting kits, and studio equipment.
• Contribute positively to a collaborative and solution-oriented team culture.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in photography, film, communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 8 years of professional experience in photography and videography within healthcare, higher education, media, or agency settings.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom, and After Effects.
• A diverse portfolio demonstrating a range of shooting skills.
• Refined communication skills, comfortable interacting with colleagues at all levels.
• Experience in producing stories from concept to completion, emphasizing client and team collaboration.
• Strong understanding of lighting, composition, and sound recording in various environments.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience in photography and videography within healthcare, higher education, media, or agency settings.

Salary range for the role is $84,577.92 - $112,881.35 annually, depending on various factors such as experience and specialty. The listed salary does not include bonuses, differential pay, or other compensation.
