Job Description

HomeTown Clean is seeking a creative, results-driven short-form video creator to build and manage engaging content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube, and paid advertising campaigns.

The role combines on-site filming with remote editing. You will meet the cleaning team at a job site approximately once a week to capture authentic, entertaining, vertical video, then edit the footage into polished, post-ready clips designed to increase engagement, grow the company’s channels, and generate cleaning bookings.

• Develop original video concepts, hooks, skits, tips, and trend-based content.
• Film satisfying cleaning transformations, before-and-after videos, team moments, and behind-the-scenes footage.
• Identify and adapt relevant trends, sounds, formats, and challenges for the HomeTown Clean brand.
• Edit weekly batches of short-form videos with engaging captions, text overlays, and light motion graphics.
• Create content suitable for organic social media and Meta and YouTube advertising.
• Help convert views into followers and followers into customers.

Requirements

• Demonstrated understanding of what makes short-form content engaging and shareable.
• Ability to recognize trends quickly and produce content while they are relevant.
• Results-focused approach centered on hooks, watch time, follower growth, leads, and bookings.
• Strong video editing skills using CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut, or similar tools.
• Comfortable creating, posting, and managing content across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Meta.
• Ability to independently shoot and edit video. Phone-first production is welcome if framing, lighting, and sound quality are strong.
• Reliable, self-directed, creative, and comfortable directing people who are not professional performers.
• Ability to provide examples of relevant video or social media work.
• Prior experience growing TikTok, Instagram Reels, or YouTube accounts, or generating sales and leads through content, is preferred.
• Valid transportation and the ability to drive to job sites in the Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky area.

Work Arrangement

• Part-time contract retainer paid monthly.
• Hybrid schedule: approximately one on-site filming day per week, with editing completed remotely.
• Expected workload is approximately 5–10 days per month, including filming and editing.
• The initial focus is on filming and editing, with potential for expanded responsibilities in posting, channel growth, and advertising content.

Compensation and Benefits

• Monthly pay: $500–$1,000.
• Flexible schedule.

Location

Hybrid remote role based in Cincinnati, Ohio, with filming at local job sites throughout Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky.
