Job Description

Halogen Engineering Group is seeking a Software Engineer specializing in UX/UI and frontend development. The role involves designing, developing, maintaining, integrating, testing, and enhancing complex software systems based on documented requirements.

The Software Engineer will analyze user and system requirements, develop new features, troubleshoot and resolve software defects, implement algorithms, design database interfaces, and integrate software into new or modified environments. The role also includes preparing technical documentation, improving software development processes, supporting system installation, and ensuring software quality and performance.

The successful candidate may serve as a technical lead for one or more software development teams, coordinate with system and hardware engineers, oversee development and testing activities, delegate responsibilities, and recommend technologies and development processes for complex projects.

Experience and Education

• Four additional years of relevant Software Engineering experience may substitute for the bachelor’s degree

Security Requirements

• Current TS/SCI security clearance
• Polygraph required; polygraph must be less than five years old

Compensation

The projected annual compensation range is $210,000–$222,000. Salary is determined by factors including location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, contract affordability, and organizational requirements.
