Job Description

We are seeking an experienced videographer and video editor to join the team behind The Purpose System and the Intentional family of companies. This is a long-term opportunity focused on building a training and development platform designed to make a positive difference in people’s lives.

The successful candidate will contribute to more than individual video assignments. They will help shape the creative direction, improve production quality, and support the development of a substantial long-term project.

We are looking for someone who takes initiative rather than simply following instructions. The ideal candidate will contribute ideas, offer constructive feedback, identify creative improvements, and collaborate closely with the wider project team.

This is an independent contractor role with the potential for an ongoing relationship and, for the right long-term fit, possible equity participation.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in videography.
• Demonstrated experience in video editing.
• A current reel or portfolio of previous video work.
• Availability for in-person filming.
• Local candidates are strongly preferred.
• Dependable, professional, and punctual.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
• Willingness to contribute ideas, opinions, and constructive feedback.
• Ability to think creatively and proactively improve the production process and finished work.
• Interest in an ongoing engagement rather than a one-time project.
• Enthusiasm for helping build a substantial project over the long term.

Compensation and Work Location

Pay: $10,000–$150,000 per year. This range is provided to meet Indeed posting requirements and should not be interpreted as a fixed salary or guaranteed compensation.

The role is a hybrid remote position based in The Colony, Texas 75056. Compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, capabilities, responsibilities, and anticipated long-term involvement. The overall arrangement may combine compensation with potential equity participation.

Interview Process

Initial interviews will be conducted via Zoom and will last approximately 30 minutes. Candidates who advance may participate in two or three interview stages, including conversations with other members of the project team.

Interviews will be scheduled during the week of October 5. Punctuality and respect for scheduled interview times are expected. Candidates progressing in the process should be prepared to provide a video reel or portfolio upon request.
