Job Description
Mai Day Productions is seeking experienced freelance sports videographers to film high school baseball and lacrosse games during the summer and upcoming sports season.
The role involves capturing dynamic, cinematic sideline footage and collaborating with the production team to meet quality standards. Videographers must be available for weekday afternoons, evenings, and weekends, and may work at locations across the north, south, and central regions of the state.
Responsibilities include filming live sports, managing personal videography equipment, and delivering high-quality footage within tight deadlines. This is a part-time, freelance role performed in person.
Requirements
- Experience filming live sports, particularly baseball and lacrosse.
- Personal videography equipment, including a camera, lenses, tripod, stabilizer, and related gear.
- A detailed equipment list submitted with the application.
- A strong portfolio or reel demonstrating sports videography experience.
- Availability during weekday afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
- Ability to work independently and capture fast-paced, engaging footage.
- Strong attention to detail and adaptability during live events.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with different camera setups and live sports filming techniques.
- Experience using video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
Compensation
Pay is provided per job and ranges from $75–$150 per game or $200–$500 for half-day or full-day shoots. The listed daily pay range is $100–$450.
