Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support and enhance an Enterprise Marketing Management (EMM) platform built on HCL Unica and related technologies. The role will focus on developing, customizing, integrating, and supporting enterprise marketing solutions for large-scale B2B and B2C operations.

The engineer will collaborate with Marketing, Product, Business Operations, IT teams, vendors, and other stakeholders to deliver scalable, reliable, and efficient solutions.

• Design, develop, enhance, and support HCL/IBM Unica Campaign and Unica Plan customizations.
• Develop Java-based integrations, services, automation, and batch processes.
• Build and maintain SSIS-based ETL and data integration solutions.
• Design, optimize, and maintain SQL Server databases, stored procedures, views, and processing jobs.
• Develop and support REST and SOAP API integrations with enterprise applications.
• Troubleshoot production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement permanent solutions.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Support platform upgrades, patches, migrations, and environment changes.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, estimation, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
• Create technical designs, deployment procedures, and operational support documentation.
• Collaborate with external vendors and cross-functional teams.
• Provide on-call support for critical production applications as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of software development experience.
• At least 5 years of Java/J2EE development experience.
• At least 3 years of SSIS development experience.
• Strong experience with Java, Spring Framework/Spring Boot, REST APIs, SQL Server, Oracle, JDBC, JSON/XML, and Git.
• Experience designing and supporting ETL and batch-processing solutions.
• Advanced SQL skills, including stored procedures, complex queries, data modeling, and performance tuning.
• Experience troubleshooting and supporting enterprise applications in production environments.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery teams.
• Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to work independently, understand complex business processes, and balance development, integration, and production-support responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with HCL Unica Campaign and/or Unica Plan.
• Experience with enterprise marketing, campaign management, or marketing automation platforms.
• Experience with Apache Camel, JMS, SOAP services, GraphQL, JavaScript, jQuery, or ExtJS.
• Experience integrating CRM, ERP, HR, marketing, event-management, or other enterprise systems.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly Azure.
• Experience with DevOps pipelines and CI/CD automation.
• Experience in Enterprise Marketing Management, Marketing Operations, workflow automation, customer marketing technologies, or enterprise application integration.
