Job Description

Blu’s BBQ & Catering is seeking a creative and dependable Content Creator to capture engaging photos and short-form videos at its Dallas restaurant. This is an in-person, flexible, part-time role focused exclusively on content capture.

The successful candidate will photograph and record the restaurant’s food, team, dining environment, and behind-the-scenes activities. Content will be captured in vertical formats suitable for Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.

This role does not include editing, caption writing, social media management, posting, or customer responses. The restaurant team will manage those activities after receiving the original content.

Requirements

• Experience or strong interest in photography, videography, marketing, or content creation; professional experience is not required.
• Ability to capture both high-quality photos and videos.
• Creative, reliable, and comfortable working independently.
• Access to a smartphone or camera capable of producing high-quality content.
• Familiarity with current social media content styles and trends.
• Ability to suggest creative ideas and help stage shots when needed.
• Ability to organize and deliver original photo and video files after each visit.
• Availability to work in person at the restaurant.

Schedule and Compensation

This is a flexible, part-time position requiring one or two scheduled restaurant visits per week.

Pay is $12.00–$18.00 per hour, depending on experience, equipment, and availability.
