Job Description

The Dallas Mavericks are seeking a Videographer to produce high-quality video content that showcases the organization’s on-court and off-court activities. The role involves planning, filming, recording audio, and editing content for games, practices, marketing campaigns, community events, and behind-the-scenes storytelling.

• Plan video shoots, create storyboards, and support scripting and scheduling.
• Film and record audio using professional video, lighting, and audio equipment.
• Edit footage using software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, including motion graphics, sound, color correction, and special effects.
• Collaborate with creative directors, producers, and other stakeholders to develop content that meets project goals.
• Organize, manage, and archive video files and project assets.
• Ensure content aligns with brand guidelines and technical specifications.
• Manage multiple projects, deadlines, and changing production environments.

Requirements

• Expertise with digital video cameras, lighting equipment, and video editing software, including Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong understanding of visual composition, storytelling, and video concept development.
• Excellent attention to detail in editing, color correction, and brand consistency.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to understand stakeholder needs and manage expectations.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment and post-production issues.
• Strong project, file, and deadline management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in film, media production, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least three years of professional videography experience.
