Job Description

Front Row is seeking a skilled Digital Video Producer to join its creative team in San Diego. The role combines visual storytelling, cinematography, production management and post-production expertise.

The Digital Video Producer will create social content and support larger commercial productions, working independently on smaller shoots and collaborating with creative and production teams on more complex projects. Responsibilities may include operating cameras, designing visual treatments, directing talent and overseeing production quality from pre-production through post-production.

The role involves working across a range of environments, from solo studio setups to larger-scale productions, while helping create photography and video content for social media, email marketing, advertising, product launches and evergreen brand campaigns.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional video production experience.
• Ability to independently manage smaller productions, including lighting, camera operation and sound.
• Experience working on both lean shoots and larger-scale commercial productions.
• Ability to perform a range of production roles, including Director of Photography, Camera Operator, 1st AC, 1st AD and Director.
• Advanced knowledge of natural and artificial lighting, camera systems and production equipment.
• Experience with camera systems such as Blackmagic, RED and Wave.
• Strong knowledge of lenses, rigs, camera movement, composition and visual design.
• Ability to interpret creative briefs and deliver content aligned with brand and campaign objectives.
• Experience directing talent and models to achieve strong, authentic performances.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with gaffers, camera assistants, grip teams and other creative and production staff.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
• Strong understanding of post-production workflows, including media management, sound syncing, transcoding and colour-correction preparation.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to maintaining high production standards.

Preferred Experience

• Previous agency experience.
• Experience in the beauty, wellness or lifestyle industries.

Compensation

Salary: $75,000–$90,000 per annum.
