Job Description

Kikoff is seeking a Product Designer to create polished, consumer-focused experiences that help millions of people build financial security. The role involves collaborating closely with Product, Engineering, Data, and Marketing to define products and user journeys across mobile and responsive web platforms.

• Design high-quality interfaces from wireframes through pixel-perfect mockups, prototypes, and final assets.
• Create consistent, visually compelling experiences across mobile and web.
• Develop scalable UI components and patterns to advance Kikoff’s design system.
• Participate in design critiques and provide thoughtful feedback to improve the quality of the work.
• Pay close attention to interaction, layout, visual hierarchy, and other details that create cohesive user experiences.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in product design.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional visual and interaction design work.
• Proven ability to create pixel-perfect interfaces with strong typography, color, layout, visual hierarchy, and motion skills.
• Experience designing consumer-facing products for mobile and responsive web.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma and prototyping tools.
• Experience building and maintaining design systems.
• Strong visual and interaction design skills, with a commitment to continuously improving your craft.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to clearly explain design decisions.
• A collaborative, low-ego approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving startup environment.

Compensation

Base salary range: $100,000–$200,000 USD.
