Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Windows QA Engineer with strong experience in IT systems, endpoint management, and Windows environments. The role combines quality assurance, technical troubleshooting, and IT support to ensure the reliability, performance, and usability of Windows-based systems and enterprise infrastructure.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing, developing, and executing test plans and test cases for Windows applications and systems.
• Validating software packages, installations, upgrades, and configurations in Windows environments.
• Performing QA validation for endpoint management solutions, including Microsoft Intune.
• Testing and troubleshooting Windows 10, Windows 11, and Windows Server environments.
• Supporting and validating virtual machine environments, including provisioning and configuration.
• Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Hyper-V environments.
• Validating file system operations, permissions, and enterprise file management processes.
• Conducting functional, regression, and system testing across enterprise IT workflows.
• Documenting defects clearly and collaborating with development teams to resolve issues.
• Supporting automation initiatives to improve QA efficiency.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• 3–6 or more years of QA Engineering experience with strong Windows ecosystem exposure.
• Hands-on experience with Windows 10, Windows 11, and Windows Server.
• Experience with Microsoft Intune or similar endpoint and device management platforms.
• Strong knowledge of software packaging, installation, deployment, and troubleshooting.
• Experience working with virtual machines and virtualization platforms.
• Practical experience installing, configuring, and supporting Hyper-V.
• Background in IT helpdesk or desktop support environments.
• Understanding of file systems, permissions, and enterprise file management.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with test automation tools or scripting, particularly PowerShell.
• Familiarity with Azure environments and cloud-managed endpoints.
• Exposure to security practices, patching, and vulnerability validation.
• Experience supporting multiple users and endpoints in enterprise IT environments.
