Job Description

Trailborn is seeking a self-driven Visual Designer to develop smart, beautiful, and impactful creative from concept through final production and delivery.

The role spans organic social, digital advertising, email, sales materials, printed collateral, branded partnerships, OS&E, and merchandise. The designer will collaborate closely with the marketing, social, partnerships, and senior design teams to respond to briefs, build adaptable templates, and deliver creative across multiple channels.

Responsibilities include creating and maintaining visual assets for organic social and partnerships, developing pre-opening digital campaigns and property materials, designing sales collateral and internal templates, and supporting ongoing brand execution. The role will also involve organizing image and video libraries and occasionally supporting photo and video shoots.

This is an execution-focused position with responsibility for production design and delivery. Over time, the role may expand into concepting and shaping new hotel and restaurant brands.

Requirements

• Three or more years of relevant visual design experience in an agency, studio, in-house, freelance, or combined environment.
• Ability to build, apply, and adapt dynamic visual identity systems.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and Canva.
• Working knowledge of Asana, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office.
• Motivated, proactive approach with the ability to maintain project momentum and meet deadlines.
• Awareness of social media and digital channels, particularly Instagram, with familiarity with TikTok.
• Experience collaborating with copywriters, photographers, illustrators, and other creative professionals.
• Comfort using AI tools and systems to improve efficiency.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative communication style, including asking questions, seeking clarity, and contributing informed opinions.
• Ability to balance strong creative perspectives with openness to feedback.
• Passion for hospitality, travel, and the outdoors.
• Hospitality experience is a plus.
• Illustration, animation, After Effects, and Procreate experience are a plus.
• Enthusiasm for contributing to a fast-moving and evolving brand and company.
