Smartcast Group - Freelance Videographer – Heavy Equipment & Trades Content

Videographer is needed in Chattanooga, United States.

Client: Smartcast Group

Location: Chattanooga, TN

Contract: Freelance

Job Description

Tekamo HD and Fortis HD are seeking local independent contractor videographers to capture documentary-style content featuring heavy-duty mechanics, equipment, tools, service trucks, repair shops, field service, and the people working in the heavy equipment industry.

Videographers will travel locally to shops, job sites, service calls, and other filming locations. Content may include equipment repairs, mechanic interviews, product demonstrations, toolbox and service truck tours, behind-the-scenes footage, and short-form content for YouTube and social media.

The role is primarily focused on capturing high-quality, unscripted footage. Videographers should be able to follow a shot list while also identifying and filming interesting moments independently. Basic editing experience, particularly with DaVinci Resolve, is an asset, and additional editing opportunities may be available.

This is a paid subcontract position with project-based scheduling and the potential to develop into consistent part-time or full-time work.

• Ability to back up, transfer, and organize large volumes of footage
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
• Comfort working around mechanics, tools, repair shops, heavy equipment, and outdoor or industrial environments
