Job Description
Dhaka Technologies Limited Company is seeking a Senior Python Developer to support its client, i8is, and end client, Bank of America. The role will focus on developing front-office applications using Python, REST APIs, ReactJS, and full-stack technologies, preferably within financial services and Global Markets.
The successful candidate will contribute to quantitative research and development, domain-specific data analysis, risk and pricing applications, and database-driven solutions. Experience with Fixed Income products, Trade Surveillance, Market Misconduct, and the Quartz platform is advantageous.
Requirements
- 10+ years of hands-on programming experience in an object-oriented language, preferably Python.
- Strong Python development experience.
- 7+ years of experience as a senior developer working on front-office banking applications.
- 7+ years of experience in quantitative research and development, including domain-specific data analysis.
- 7+ years of experience with REST APIs, ReactJS, or full-stack development.
- Experience with both object-oriented databases and relational databases.
- Preferred: 5+ years of experience developing risk and pricing applications.
- Preferred: Knowledge of Fixed Income products.
- Preferred: Experience with or knowledge of Trade Surveillance and Market Misconduct in Global Markets.
- Preferred: Subject matter expertise with the Quartz platform.

Work Authorization and Compensation
Applicants must be US Citizens or Green Card holders. Visa sponsorship is not available. The pay range is $60–$65 per hour, subject to negotiation based on experience, education, location, and other factors.
