Job Description

Develop, maintain, and optimize interactive Tableau dashboards and reports that communicate data insights effectively and meet business requirements.

• Design visualizations, including charts, graphs, maps, and interactive dashboard elements.
• Connect Tableau to databases, spreadsheets, cloud repositories, and other data sources.
• Clean, transform, and prepare data for analysis and visualization.
• Create calculated fields and custom formulas for advanced data analysis.
• Optimize dashboards and reports for performance, including when working with large datasets.
• Develop automated processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Implement data security measures to protect sensitive information.
• Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver effective data solutions.
• Provide user training, ongoing support, and troubleshooting for Tableau users.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Tableau Developer or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server.
• Strong understanding of data visualization principles.
• Knowledge of SQL, data modelling, and database systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with other business intelligence tools.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts.
• Tableau certification.
