Job Description

Bowtie Media is seeking a resourceful freelance Content Creator and Social Media Manager to transform existing client assets into engaging, polished social media content.

The role involves reviewing photography, raw video, product information, brand guidelines, copy, and reference posts to identify creative opportunities and produce fresh content for clients in the luxury home, kitchen, design, lifestyle, and hospitality industries.

Key responsibilities include:

• Creating short-form videos, static posts, carousels, Stories, and other social media content from existing assets
• Developing hooks, captions, text overlays, transitions, cover images, pacing, and calls to action
• Editing vertical video for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and other platforms
• Using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut, or comparable platforms
• Using generative AI tools appropriately for ideation, editing, graphics, voiceovers, image enhancement, and content variations
• Researching social media trends and competitor content
• Maintaining content calendars and organizing assets, approvals, revisions, and deadlines
• Drafting captions and adapting content to different brand voices
• Scheduling or publishing approved content when required
• Reviewing basic performance metrics and recommending improvements
• Communicating clearly about timelines, questions, project status, and deliverables

Requirements

• A strong portfolio featuring branded static content and short-form video
• Ability to create compelling content from limited or existing source material
• Comfort working independently from creative briefs or asset folders
• Strong visual judgment, storytelling ability, and attention to detail
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools
• Professional experience using generative AI tools within a creative workflow
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple client projects
• Strong written communication and caption-writing abilities
• Reliability with deadlines, revisions, and client feedback
• Experience with luxury, home, design, food, hospitality, or lifestyle brands is preferred but not required
