Job Description

The Web Designer will improve the appearance, functionality, and usability of websites and digital initiatives for Wind River Hotel & Casino and Northern Arapaho Enterprises. The role requires strong visual design skills, creative problem-solving, and the ability to translate business requirements into intuitive, user-friendly digital experiences.

• Maintain and update websites in accordance with content, branding, and design standards.
• Design website imagery, layouts, icons, banners, and other visual assets.
• Manage front-end web development activities from concept through launch.
• Apply back-end knowledge to support website updates and address security-related issues.
• Develop simple, accessible, and user-friendly solutions to complex design and usability challenges.
• Present and explain designs and deliverables to marketing colleagues and executive stakeholders.
• Establish and promote web design guidelines, best practices, and standards.
• Create short motion graphic videos for digital displays and monitors across the properties.
• Collaborate effectively with casino personnel, the Senior Designer, and other internal stakeholders.
• Attend required meetings, training sessions, and other assigned activities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Proven professional experience as a Web Designer.
• Strong graphic design skills supported by a professional portfolio.
• Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and other visual design tools.
• Experience with front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, jQuery, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Knowledge of back-end technologies such as Django or similar platforms.
• Working knowledge of content management systems and search engine optimization principles.
• Understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, web security, and accessibility considerations.
• Excellent visual design and layout skills.
• Current knowledge of web protocols, standards, and technologies.
• Creative, adaptable, and open to learning new techniques.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Relevant diploma or qualification in web design, graphic design, computer science, or a related field.

• Must hold a valid Wyoming Driver’s License.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Gaming License.
