Job Description

Spa Jolie, an established beauty and med spa in Manhattan, is seeking a part-time/freelance Social Media Content Creator and Influencer to manage and grow its Instagram and TikTok presence.

The role involves visiting the spa approximately once per week to film multiple videos, then creating and managing short-form content throughout the month. Content may include Instagram Reels, TikToks, promotional videos, treatment demonstrations, behind-the-scenes footage, educational content, and trending videos.

• Film content on-site approximately once per week.
• Create and edit Instagram Reels, TikToks, and other short-form videos.
• Appear confidently and speak naturally on camera.
• Help manage and grow Spa Jolie’s Instagram and TikTok accounts.
• Write captions and assist with scheduling regular posts.
• Develop fresh content ideas and work with staff to produce engaging videos.
• Use social media trends and strategies to increase engagement and reach.

Requirements

• Experience creating Instagram Reels and TikTok videos.
• Outgoing, energetic, confident, and comfortable appearing on camera.
• Strong understanding of Instagram and TikTok algorithms, trends, and content strategies.
• Experience filming and editing high-quality videos.
• Ability to consistently produce content throughout the month.
• Familiarity with CapCut, Canva, or similar editing software.
• Reliable, creative, organized, and self-motivated.
• Experience in beauty, skincare, or wellness is preferred but not required.
• A large personal social media following is not required; experience, personality, and creativity are the priorities.

Schedule and Compensation

• Part-time/freelance position.
• Approximately one on-site filming day per week.
• Additional remote editing and social media management.
• Monthly compensation based on experience and responsibilities.
• Potential for a long-term opportunity with a growing business.

Optional Front Desk Opportunity

An additional part-time front desk position is available for interested candidates. This optional role involves working approximately two additional days per week and assisting with scheduling, customer service, and daily operations.

The front desk opportunity is not required for the social media position.

Pay: $17.00–$20.00 per hour
