Job Description
Advanced Marketers is seeking a freelance Videographer for a one-day, on-site shoot in Sacramento, California. The role focuses exclusively on filming and raw footage capture; editing and post-production will be handled by the agency’s internal team.
The Videographer will operate the camera independently, manage the set, and direct a business owner through blocking, delivery, and on-camera performance. The successful candidate will help the client feel comfortable and coach them toward a natural, confident delivery that aligns with brand guidelines and campaign goals.
This opportunity may lead to ongoing freelance work on future client shoots based on performance.
Requirements
- Strong video production and independent on-set shooting skills.
- Proficiency operating a range of camera systems.
- Experience creating video for marketing, social media, branded content, commercial, or agency projects.
- Ability to direct and coach non-professional clients on camera in real time.
- Portfolio demonstrating relevant video production work.
- Excellent time management, organization, and on-set communication skills.
- Availability to work in person in Sacramento, California, for a single-day shoot.
- Training or education in film, media production, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Experience working with digital marketing or creative teams is beneficial.
