Job Description

Currnt Studio is seeking a reliable, talented Part-Time Contract Videographer to film client projects throughout Denver, Colorado, and the surrounding metro area.

The role involves executing creative direction provided by Currnt Studio and capturing high-quality commercial video content, including:

• Interviews and testimonials
• Social media content
• Paid advertising creative
• Brand and company videos
• Construction and project updates
• B-roll and lifestyle footage
• Drone footage

Responsibilities include setting up and operating cameras, lighting, and audio equipment; directing clients and on-camera talent when needed; following creative briefs and shot lists; capturing well-composed footage; managing and transferring media; maintaining consistent technical quality; and representing Currnt Studio professionally on client locations.

The successful candidate will work independently behind the camera while communicating effectively with clients, talent, and the Currnt Studio team. Creative concepts, interview questions, shot lists, and general direction will typically be provided.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of camera operation, exposure, composition, frame rates, and basic color profiles
• Experience lighting interviews and commercial environments
• Strong working knowledge of professional audio
• Ability to capture both vertical and horizontal video
• Comfort working with business owners, executives, employees, and other clients
• Reliable transportation throughout the Denver metro area
• Strong communication and professionalism
• Dependability and punctuality
• Ability to follow direction and solve problems independently on set
• An eye for clean, modern commercial content
• Professional production equipment access preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Two or more years of professional videography or production experience
• Experience with Sony cinema or mirrorless cameras
• Experience filming advertisements, interviews, testimonials, social media, or branded content
• Experience working in construction or industrial environments
• Familiarity with gimbals, drones, wireless audio, and professional lighting equipment
• FAA Part 107 certification
• Editing experience is helpful but not required

Schedule and Work Arrangement

This is a part-time, project-based contract role and is not guaranteed to provide 40 hours per week. Work will be scheduled around client bookings, with some weeks offering multiple shoots and others being lighter.

Most shoots take place during weekday business hours, although occasional early morning, evening, or weekend availability may be beneficial. The role is intended for someone interested in an ongoing relationship with Currnt Studio.

Work is primarily conducted in person throughout Denver, Colorado, and the surrounding areas. The listing also identifies Littleton, CO 80123, as a hybrid remote work location.

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation is project-based and dependent on experience and scope. Pay starts at $65 per hour. Applicants should provide their preferred hourly, half-day, or full-day rate.
