3D Character Designer for Gym-Themed Collectible Figures
3D Modeler is needed in United Kingdom.
Refine an existing Blender model and physical prototype for Gymlins, a gym-themed collectible figure range. The initial project covers reviewing the squat-character files, identifying improvements, and defining a scope to refine its geometry, pose, removable weight plates, and collars while retaining the character’s expressive “ugly-cute” identity.
Create production-ready character and accessory assets, including clean part separation, compatible fittings, fit/assembly considerations, and organised editable Blender source files with suitable print/export files. The figure is approximately 8 cm tall, so details and connections should work reliably at this scale.
Future commissions may include deadlift and bench-press characters, expressions, accessories, a power rack with storage pegs, a removable bench, and promotional renders. Maintain consistent scale and interchangeable component standards across the range.
Strong Blender modelling, digital sculpting, stylised character work, toy/3D-print production knowledge, and familiarity with strength training equipment and technique are essential. Please share relevant portfolio examples, especially work that was physically printed or manufactured, and note your UK location and gym/training experience.

About the client
I’m Luke, a UK-based founder and regular gym-goer with around three years of consistent strength training. I’m developing Gymlins alongside my career in financial accounting, bringing together my interest in gym culture and original collectible characters. The brand is at an early stage, with an existing design and physical prototype. I’m looking for a creative collaborator who shares my enthusiasm for training and can help turn the concept into a distinctive, well-designed product range. I value clear communication, honest feedback and a collaborative approach.
