Job Description

Allstream Energy Partners is seeking creative and dependable content creators for part-time, freelance, and event-based assignments in the Houston area. The role primarily involves on-site coverage of charity golf tournaments, clay shoots, industry networking events, and corporate gatherings.

Content creators will produce professional video and photography, including event highlights, candid moments, sponsor features, interviews, recap videos, and social media content. The role also involves coordinating with the Allstream team, organizing footage, meeting deliverable deadlines, and representing the company professionally with clients, sponsors, and attendees.

Requirements

• Professional videography and photography experience, supported by a portfolio or relevant work samples.
• Proficiency in at least one editing platform: Final Cut Pro, Adobe After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Knowledge of lighting, composition, audio capture, editing, and visual storytelling.
• Ability to work independently and identify important moments during live events.
• Strong communication, reliability, organization, and attention to deadlines.
• Availability for on-site assignments, including occasional early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
• Access to suitable production equipment and the ability to provide details about available equipment.

Graphic design experience is preferred but not required, particularly for social media graphics, video titles, thumbnails, and branded content. Experience covering golf tournaments, clay shoots, or other outdoor events is also beneficial.

Compensation and Schedule

• Part-time, project-based work with assignments determined by event schedules and business needs.
• Day rates generally range from $300 to $1,500, with the advertised pay range listed as $350 to $1,800 per day.
• Typical charity events may have a content team budget of approximately $450 to $500 for a 6–8-hour event day.
• Compensation, team size, equipment requirements, editing responsibilities, and deliverables will be agreed upon before each assignment.
