Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable business intelligence solutions. The role will focus on creating interactive dashboards and reports, developing robust semantic-layer data models, and delivering actionable insights to business stakeholders.

The successful candidate will work with the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem to support data integration, transformation, and warehousing. They will also contribute to Power BI governance, security, workspace administration, performance optimization, and issue resolution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• At least 7 years of professional experience as a Power BI Developer.
• Advanced experience with Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, Power Query, and data modelling.
• Strong understanding of semantic-layer design, data warehousing, performance, and scalability.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, including tools such as Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, and Data Lake.
• Ability to gather business requirements and translate them into effective reports and visualizations.
• Experience implementing Power BI data governance, security, workspace administration, and user access controls.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Desirable Experience

• Experience with Tableau development and administration.
• Experience migrating dashboards and reports from Tableau to Power BI.
