Job Description

Rocky Mountain Catering + Events is seeking a creative, organized, and enthusiastic Videographer Intern to support social media marketing and digital content creation. The intern will work with the marketing team to build a digital content library for marketing materials, presentations, and social media.

Reporting to the Manager of Staffing Solutions, the Videographer Intern will capture and edit photography and video content at events and venues throughout Colorado. This role offers hands-on experience, portfolio development, and exposure to digital marketing in a fast-paced catering and events environment.

• Create and manage content for social media platforms.
• Capture photos and videos of events, venues, catering setups, food, and team members.
• Research social media trends and conduct social listening.
• Collaborate with the marketing team on social media campaigns and digital marketing strategies.
• Edit photos and videos before submitting them to the marketing team.
• Follow the weekly content calendar and attend weekly meetings with the Manager of Staffing Solutions.
• Support photography and videography initiatives for social media.
• Share ideas, help identify opportunities, and contribute to a positive work environment.
• Maintain clean work areas and follow safety standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Three to six months of related social media marketing experience required.
• Three to six months of photography and videography content creation experience.
• Strong interest in social media marketing and digital content creation.
• Knowledge of social media platforms and best practices.
• Basic understanding of public relations and digital marketing.
• Proficiency with photography and content creation tools.
• Access to a high-quality camera; phone-only equipment is not sufficient.
• Ability to use Google Docs and Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong work ethic, self-motivation, attention to detail, and commitment to achieving positive results.
• Professional integrity, positive morale, and a collaborative attitude.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive to venues throughout Colorado.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekdays, weekends, day shifts, and evening shifts.
• Ability to stand, walk, squat, bend, and reach during shifts.
• Ability to work outdoors and adapt to changing or extreme temperatures.
