Job Description

We are seeking a creative content creator to produce high-quality Instagram Reels, short-form videos, photos, and social media content for a restaurant and hospitality brand.

The role involves managing the creative process from concept development through filming, editing, and delivery. Content should showcase food, cocktails, hookah, the venue atmosphere, guest experiences, DJs, nightlife, and special events in a visually polished and engaging style.

The successful candidate will create content that encourages viewers to visit, make reservations, attend events, and engage with the brand. Creative references include @reserve.nyc and @newyork_bars.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Plan, film, and edit Instagram Reels and other short-form videos.
  • Capture food, cocktails, hookah, interiors, guest experiences, DJs, and event highlights.
  • Create promotional content for happy hours, themed dinners, weekend events, and special offers.
  • Develop creative concepts, shot lists, and attention-grabbing video openings.
  • Edit content using strong pacing, music, transitions, captions, and consistent color treatment.
  • Capture photos and vertical clips for Instagram posts and Stories.
  • Coordinate shoots with management and staff around restaurant operations.
  • Deliver completed content on schedule and organize footage for future use.
  • Work with management to maintain a consistent content calendar and publishing schedule.

Requirements

  • Portfolio demonstrating restaurant, lounge, hospitality, nightlife, or event content.
  • Strong filming and video editing skills, with an eye for lighting, composition, and detail.
  • Ability to capture high-quality content in dimly lit, busy environments.
  • Experience with CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar editing software.
  • Ability to develop creative ideas independently and manage projects from concept to completion.
  • Reliable communication, punctuality, and consistent on-time delivery.
  • Availability for on-site shoots in Washington, DC, including select evenings and weekends.
  • Access to suitable filming equipment, such as a professional camera setup or a high-quality smartphone with lighting and stabilization equipment.

Preferred experience includes:

  • Filming food and cocktail close-ups, venue walkthroughs, and event recap videos.
  • Creating content for upscale restaurants or hospitality brands.
  • Producing promotional content designed to drive reservations, event attendance, and venue visits.

Growth Opportunities

Based on performance and business needs, there may be opportunities to create content across multiple locations, lead larger campaigns, and take on additional creative and marketing responsibilities within the hospitality group.
