Job Description

We are a growing fine jewelry brand specializing in vintage, unique, and modern jewelry, including natural diamonds, lab-grown diamonds, gemstones, and custom pieces. We are seeking a creative, fashion-forward Social Media Content Creator to develop engaging content that reflects the brand’s luxury, cool, feminine, playful, and editorial aesthetic.

This is a hands-on role for someone who can identify compelling content opportunities and create polished, aspirational social media content that drives engagement and interest in the products.

• Create Instagram Reels, TikToks, Stories, carousels, and other short-form content.
• Film jewelry using an iPhone and/or camera in natural light, on-body, and in lifestyle settings.
• Develop creative concepts, hooks, scripts, shot lists, and recurring content series.
• Edit short-form videos for Instagram and TikTok.
• Create content featuring new arrivals, vintage jewelry, lab-grown diamonds, gemstones, custom pieces, styling, education, behind-the-scenes content, and brand personality.
• Monitor social media trends and adapt relevant trends for a fine jewelry audience.
• Collaborate with the owner on campaigns, launches, promotions, and content ideas.
• Assist with photoshoots, product styling, and content creation days as needed.
• Organize and maintain a library of usable photo and video assets.

Requirements

• Experience creating content for Instagram and/or TikTok.
• Strong visual taste and an eye for fashion, jewelry, beauty, or luxury aesthetics.
• Understanding of engaging short-form content and social media trends.
• Ability to film products, people, lifestyle content, and yourself when needed.
• Proficiency in editing Reels and TikToks.
• Ability to create content that feels natural, authentic, and non-corporate.
• Creative, proactive, and able to develop ideas independently.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, reliability, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Comfort working in a small, fast-moving business.

Preferred or additional experience:

• Experience working with a jewelry, fashion, beauty, luxury, or e-commerce brand.
• Photography and product styling skills.
• Experience with CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Lightroom, Canva, or similar tools.
• UGC creation experience and comfort appearing on camera.
• Knowledge of Instagram analytics and content performance.
• Experience growing a brand organically on social media.
• Experience with Shopify or other e-commerce platforms.

Schedule and Location

This is a part-time position based in Orange County, California, requiring approximately 15–25 hours per week and no more than 24 hours per week expected. The role is primarily in person for content creation, with some flexibility for remote editing and planning. The ideal schedule is 2–3 days per week, depending on the content calendar.

There may be potential for increased hours and responsibility as the brand grows.
