Creative content producer/Videographer for Money with Carla, a financial education brand.

Videographer is needed in Cape Town, South Africa.

We are looking for a videographer / creative content producer to shoot and edit video content for Money with Carla. This is a freelance retainer role, with shoots twice a month at Carla’s studio in Stellenbosch and editing done remotely.

You will handle the full production workflow, from setting up equipment on shoot days to delivering finished long-form and short-form videos.

What the role includes:
– Coming in twice a month to shoot content with Carla at her studio in Stellenbosch
– Setting up and operating our camera, audio and lighting equipment
– Recording clean, professional audio
– Editing long-form videos for YouTube
– Editing short-form reels and clips for Instagram and Facebook

Output we need:
– 1 YouTube video every Sunday, plus a few short cut-downs from it
– 2–3 reels per week for Instagram and Facebook
– On each shoot day, ideally at least 2 YouTube videos and 6 reels, with more where possible so we can get ahead for busy months and holidays

What we’re looking for:
– A strong portfolio of video shooting and editing work, including talking-head, podcast or YouTube-style content and reels
– Confident use of professional editing software for long-form and short-form content
– Solid audio skills, including mic placement, recording levels and noise clean-up in post-production
– Reliable, organised and able to meet deadlines
– Able to travel to our studio in Stellenbosch twice a month

Equipment:
We have our own camera, audio and lighting equipment at the studio, so you won’t need to bring or buy any.

Start date:
Our current content team finishes at the end of November, so we would like you to start in early November. This gives you time to observe how things are currently done and take over smoothly. Our November shoot dates are the 2nd, 9th and 17th.
