Over the past year I have been building a 3D animation showreel, focusing on body mechanics, posing, timing and appeal; I have worked on acting shots with emphasis on believable facial animation, and I have hands-on experience retargeting motion capture data in Autodesk Maya and cleanup. I have also been connecting with professionals in the animation industry via social channels and networking events for advice, mentoring opportunities, and regular feedback on my work.

Developed and completed a personal 3D animation portfolio with a focus on body mechanics, anatomy, posing, timing, spacing, and appeal when animating characters. Improved facial animation to create believable acting shots, worked with motion capture data including retargeting and cleanup in Autodesk Maya, and developed abilities in animating creatures. Engaged with industry professionals via networking and social channels for advice, mentorship, and feedback and implemented mentor’s notes using syncsketch.
Served as the first point of contact for customer queries, complaints, and product requests in travel shops located in Edinburgh city centre and West End. Produced travel smartcards and processed payments according to selected plans. Managed incoming calls from customers and internal departments to support travel service requirements.
Served customers at tills handling cash and card payments, replenished and organized stock in aisles, and managed parcel collections and deliveries to and from customers.
The degree involved learning the entire animation production pipeline. From idea generation right through to post production. The course granted me the chance to develop my knowledge and understanding of the animation industry, and introduce me to the skills outlined in my profile.
