Hi, I’m Rachel Alatorre! I’m a Graphic Designer and Illustrator: raillustrationdesign.weebly.com
While getting my B. A. with a focus on Graphic Design (which I received in 2023), I worked with multiple smaller companies to help create their branding and I continue to do so in my spare time. I’ve also created and copyrighted my own product, “Wild Wisdom: Animal Medicine Cards,” which consists of a box, booklet, cards, and stickers.
I find it deeply fulfilling to see people’s projects and business come into reality, and getting to assist in that process is a privilege to me. Please feel free to visit my online portfolio to see some of my past projects with various non-profits, outdoor companies, the William King Museum of Art, some of my work with Emory & Henry University, and my own personal projects.
Thank you for your time!

Based on the seven chakras, major arcana tarot, and semiotics, Wild Wisdom is an altered set of animal medicine cards intended to strengthen self-reflection and the mental health of the one who possesses them.
Animal medicine cards originate from Native American culture and are used to encourage the healing and awareness of the soul, mind, and body and how the user interacts with the world. Specific animals, shapes, plants, and objects symbolize the state of the user. Wild Wisdom breaks the typical tradition of animal medicine cards in order to draw attention to specific species as well as integrate symbolism from a variety of cultures.
The order of the cards within the manual is intended to represent the mental and spiritual journey one typically takes, however, no person is the same and will likely embark in different orders or stages.
