    Platinum LED is an ecommerce company in the health and wellness space. They were early innovators in the red light therapy space and continue to leverage information at the forefront of science and technology to help people feel their best. The intention with Platinum LED’s website redesign was to differentiate them from their competitors (whom have chosen to mimic their original aesthetic) and lean into the clinically backed, science foundation of the brand. By using editorially inspired type hierarchy, liberal whitespace and clean lines, the aesthetic hints to the user that this brand has clinical roots and a medical aspect. The use of color is clean and crisp, choosing to use whitespace as counterpoint to a very bold and strong use of red. Meanwhile, the photography is meant to humanize the brand, most often showing human subjects as the protagonists and employing a subtle warm tone.     Joyspring’s identity is full of energy and fun. With a simple mix of colors, shapes, and personality, we created a brand that feels relatable, optimistic, and full of joy. The pastel colors are reminiscent of the bright and colorful spaces of childhood to bring a sense of playfulness and happiness to the design. The hand-doodled illustration in the logo alludes to children’s coloring books, while the round, organic shapes bring friendliness to the brand.
