Hi, I’m Ho Rhu Pin, a Malaysian designer, illustrator, and educator with over a decade of experience in visual arts, creative direction, and design education.

I specialize in IP design, merging storytelling, culture, and character development. I’m the Founder and Creative Director of Lazybeing, a street fashion and design brand known for the Lazybeing Sloth IP. I’ve collaborated on cross-cultural IP projects, such as Taoist deity IP infused with Javanese and Balinese elements, and I’m exploring diversity and symbolism through de(verse)ity. As both an artist and educator, I’m driven to use design as a bridge between culture, identity, and community, building characters, stories, and visual worlds that resonate with diverse audiences while inspiring the next generation of creatives.
