Hello w-m-orld! My name is Michael Formica Petty. I started playing music when I was 7 on saxophone. I saw Michael Jackson do the M(j)oon Walk when I was six and he inspired me to become a singer! My Mother told me that singing isn't an instrument!!! So I fooled around until the age of ten years old. My Uncle told me that if I learned ten chords on the guitar that he would give it to me. He couldn't believe it, but the guitar was mine within the next 24 hours, So he was little late on his end of the deal, However he held to his end. I started writing songs when I was 10 that same week from a poem I wrote when I was 7. I wanted to complete the action I started! Michael Jackson's fault still, always will be! I got my first band van at 12. I earned it all my self. I had songs written and recorded by 15 I wrote every instrument and we were a 3 piece band. We had made some demos and passed them out at school. Maybe 8x of them. One of the girls at school went home and listened to it in her room. Her mother came in and asked who it was because she had never heard of the group on the radio. She told her it was a kid that went to her school. Just so happened she is was the manager that discovered the group 3 Doors Down a Mississippi group. I signed a management deal with her at 15. There's more to the story than that, and it's still...^. I've had many of groups come to me for writing songs and many songwriters come to me for writing songs, especially now that my songs aren't written by a 10 year old! 😉 I can't mention the names of. . I am able to play the Chapman's stick, and the digeredoo. However my main instrument is my voice. 😉X2 My main subject in education is/was Spelling. The song that I was recognized for first is named; Decivation. The word doesn't exist yet. The word Deceive is the root word. Deceiving/Deceit is the action of. Decivation means to do it for a living, The Art Of. The only book I've read in my life is the dictionary and I am a Countertenor BTW. And a medical condition named "Golden Ears".
