Designed and maintained the backend for Klik, a Nepali community matchmaking app, covering authentication, subscriptions and in-app purchases, realtime chat, push notifications, media storage, and the match feed. Built the feed ranking system using an Elo rating per target gender, a 36-point Vedic Ashtakoota compatibility engine, and MongoDB aggregation pipelines for nested document filtering and sorting. Provisioned and administered VPS and MongoDB Atlas deployments, implementing Express middleware for auth, rate limiting, and request validation; investigated a production defect involving IP-based location fallback. Developed an internal admin platform including report moderation, selfie verification review workflows, feature flags, feedback aggregation, referral and gift-code tracking, and an analytics dashboard powering user-facing metrics.
