    uniE621 Polymerch
Polymerch aim to provide a link between recycling and manufacturing, making it easier for manufacturers to source quality recycled raw materials, and therefore reduce the amount of plastic waste ending up in the ocean. Plastic is heavily reported as one of the main factors in global pollution, so the challenge here was to create an appropriate logo and brand that would show how this company is actually trying to help the environment by dealing in recycled plastic. Combining the letter P with a circle represents the circular economy/closed loop of reusing and recycling materials. The central “P” shape also represents a fish, referring to aquatic life that will benefit from less plastic being dumped in the ocean.
    uniE621 Fynde
Fynde are a global recruitment company, specialising in executive recruitment in sectors such as sports, leisure, fashion and outdoor pursuits. The client wanted a professional but also prestigious looking logo and identity for their new company, befitting of the executive recruitment sector. The compass pointer symbol refers to the recruitment business finding the correct candidate for a specific role and is also a nod to the outdoor activities sector that they work with.
    uniE621 Apex Recycling Solutions
This project involved creating a logo and brand identity for a new business which operates a plastic recycling service. Apex Recycling Solutions reprocesses end-of-life plastic packaging that would otherwise end up in the ocean or being incinerated. It was important to create a brand with a clean and fresh aesthetic, in order to emphasise the benefits of the recycling service – diverting waste plastic away from the ocean and back into useful applications. The logo and identity uses wave patterns as an ocean reference, but also features an infinite loop as a nod to the circular economy of plastic recycling. The colour scheme is also intended to suggest a clean and natural ocean.
    uniE621 Ilkley Hedges
A family start up business, providing hedge maintenance in the Ilkley area of Yorkshire, required a logo and brand identity to promote their business. I produced 3 logo concepts for the client. The chosen design was the most professional and traditional looking. The hexagon shape work well in the creation of other brand elements, like service icons, patterns, backgrounds, etc.
    uniE621 Planted
Planted is a retail business selling entirely ethical, sustainable and vegan products, including food, homeware and toiletries. A logo and brand identity was required for use on their website, social media and printed items - business cards, banners, signs, etc. I produced a number of initial logo concepts, of which this was the chosen design. I also produced a number of social media graphics, email signature, business card, etc.
    uniE621 Coco Cool
I was asked to create a logo and brand identity for Coco Cool - a company that imports coconut water from Brazil. The water is frozen straight from the coconut in order to preserve the nutrients. This freezing process led to the name 'Coco Cool'. The client wanted the brand to have a 'Brazilian' feel, so I felt it was important to use bright and vibrant colours, possibly even using the Brazilian flag colour scheme. I also used images of Brazilian street art and street posters as references. webdesigner
